Live Sammy was developed with the goal of providing an ultimate top water plug. Lucky Craft successfully combined the sharp "walking the dog" action of the original Sammy, as well as the powerful splashes it creates through lateral sliding movements, together with an improved hooking ratio achieved by a live body that absorbs the impact received when a bass bites the bait. The feather hook used by all Live Series baits provides an attack point for bass to tackle, plus a reliable clasp that does not release the fish once caught. The screw of water flow generated by the live body as it slides to the right and left stimulate the tactile senses of bass, which are lured by the realistic movements of the bait.
